Martin A. Arnett

Marty was born in Tampa, Florida, but raised in Louisville.  He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee in 1979.  He then obtained his law degree in 1982 from the University of Louisville School of Law. 

Marty began his law practice at Weber and Rose in Louisville.  He practiced there for over twenty years before joining PPOM in 2003.  Marty focuses his practice in the area of hospital and medical malpractice defense.  He is admited to practice before the trial and appellate courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. 

Marty is a member of the Louisville Bar Association, where he has served as past chairman of their Health Law section.  He is also a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, where he is a member of the Litigation and Tort and Insurance practice sections.  Also, since 1993 Marty has served as a member of the Medical/Legal Committee of the Jefferson County Medical Society.  In addition, Marty is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America; the Kentucky Academy of Hospital Attorneys; the Kentucky Society for Healthcare Risk Management; and the American Academy of Hospital Attorneys.
